- Question : Are Polymailers Waterproof?
Yes. Our poly mailers are made from LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) which is fully waterproof. The outer surface repels water and moisture, keeping the contents dry even if the mailer gets wet during transit or delivery. This is particularly important for shipments during monsoon season or in cities like Karachi where humidity and rain can affect courier deliveries. - Question : What printing technique is used on custom printed poly mailers?
We use screen printing on all our custom poly mailers. It produces a sharp and durable print that does not smudge, scratch off, or fade during courier handling and delivery. We offer 1 or 2 colour screen printing — your logo, brand name, tagline, website, or social media handle can be printed in up to two colours on either black or white mailers. For best print quality, artwork should be provided as a vector file in AI, EPS, or PDF format.
- Question : Are polymailers leak proof?
Poly mailers are not leakproof and are not suitable for liquid products. The self-seal adhesive closure secures the opening firmly but the bag itself is not designed to contain liquids. Our custom poly mailers are intended for solid products — clothing, accessories, documents, and similar lightweight items. If you are shipping any product that contains liquid or moisture, poly mailers are not the right packaging choice. For liquid or semi-liquid products we recommend a sealed inner pouch combined with a corrugated box for outer protection.
- Question: Are poly mailers tamper-proof and how does the seal work?
Our custom poly mailers use a self-seal adhesive strip for closure. To seal the mailer, you peel off the protective paper liner covering the adhesive strip and fold the flap down firmly onto the body of the bag. Once pressed down, the adhesive bonds strongly to the poly surface and the mailer is sealed shut. The seal is tamper-evident rather than fully tamper-proof. This means that while the adhesive closure is strong enough to stay sealed through normal courier handling and delivery, any attempt to force the mailer open will visibly damage or tear the flap — making it immediately obvious to both the recipient and the courier that the package has been interfered with.
