Printing and lamination are applied to the outer surface only. The material cost difference between buxboard and food-grade board is small — the risk difference is not.

Our standard cake box board weight is 350gsm — the most commonly used cardboard weight for cake boxes in Pakistan and the right choice for most full-size cake formats. 350gsm provides sufficient structural strength to support a full 1 or 2 pound cake without the base bending or the walls collapsing under weight during handling and delivery. For smaller cake formats, slice boxes, portion boxes, and lighter products where the full structural strength of 350gsm is not required, 250gsm cardboard is available as a more cost-effective option. We advise on the correct board weight for your specific cake size and weight during the quoting process.

Windows are pre-fitted on the boxes at our Lahore facility, so you receive flat-packed custom cake boxes with the window already in place, ready to fold and use.

What is the right cardboard material for Cake Boxes?
There are 2 sorts of material available in the market for cake boxes manufacturing, commonly known as bleach card and buxboard. Buxboard has one surface as brown or greyish, which is used as inside material. The Bleach card has one surface that is white and uncoated, which is used as an inside material. These are the materials that may come in contact with your cake or food products. Buxboard is not food-grade material and is often used as a cheaper alternative. Bleach card is food-grade and shall always be used.
Can you manufacture custom cake boxes for tall layered cakes?
Yes. We manufacture cake boxes to custom heights for tall layered cakes, heavily decorated cakes with tall fondant or sugar flower work, and any cake format that exceeds standard box heights. Share your cake dimensions, including the height of the decoration at its tallest point, and we will manufacture the box with sufficient internal clearance to protect the decoration fully during transit and delivery.
Where is the window cut-out positioned on custom cake boxes?
Window cut-out positioning is applied as per your requirement — top lid, side panel, or a combination of both. PVC window is pasted on the box and delivered as a flat pack. So you just assemble the cake box and use it.
Do you have standard plain 1 and 2 pound cake boxes?
Yes. We have standard 1-pound and 2-pound cake box sizes available and can deliver plain boxes in 2-3 days anywhere in Pakistan.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom cake boxes?
Our minimum order quantity for custom printed cake boxes is 500 units per size and design. If ordering multiple sizes simultaneously, each size is subject to its own MOQ. However for tall and fancy cakes we can adjust the MOQ, please contact us with your requirements.
